Specific Disclosures for "My Era" App

"My Era" application requires the processing of specific user data to provide AI-generated content. The following provisions apply solely to your use of "My Era":

Collection of Face Data

We collect images of your face (selfies) only when you voluntarily upload them to the app to use features like "Vision Board" or "Roast". We do not collect face data silently or without your interaction.

Purpose of Face Data Use

Face data is used exclusively to generate stylized AI images and text descriptions based on your likeness. We do not use your face data for authentication, advertising, or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Sharing and Processing

To generate your content, your photo is securely transmitted to our AI inference providers (e.g., Replicate, OpenAI).

• Purpose: These providers process your data solely to create the requested AI output and to monitor for safety/abuse (content moderation)
• No Training: Your face data is NOT used to train these third parties' general public AI models
• Retention by Third Parties: Our providers retain input and output images temporarily solely for the purpose of processing, debugging, and security (abuse monitoring). Data is automatically deleted after this limited retention period in accordance with the providers' data privacy policies

Data Retention Policy

• Facial images are retained on our servers for 30-60 seconds during AI analysis
• Face data is processed transiently and is immediately discarded from our systems after the generation session is complete
• The resulting AI images are stored locally on your device in the "History Vault"

User Consent and Revocation

By uploading a photo, you consent to this processing. Since we do not store your data on our servers, there is no need to request deletion – your data ceases to exist in our processing pipeline immediately after generation

Data Security (All Apps)

Protection Measures

• Encryption: All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL).
• Secure servers: Data is processed on secure servers with access controls (where applicable).
• Regular audits: We regularly review and update our security measures.
• Staff training: Our team is trained on data protection best practices.

• Immediate action: Any security incidents are addressed immediately.

Children's Privacy (All Apps)

Our apps are designed for general audiences and do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete it.
